Previously, Kelly co-hosted Good Day New York on Fox 5 for nearly a decade, delivering breaking news and conducting in-depth interviews with prominent figures in politics, law enforcement, education, and entertainment. His career also includes a notable tenure as an anchor and correspondent for Fox News Channel (FNC). Joining FNC in 2002, Kelly served as a White House correspondent from 2005 to 2007 and extensively covered the Iraq War, including four long-term assignments in Baghdad.
During the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, Kelly was embedded with the U.S. Army’s 3rd Infantry Division, 2nd Brigade. He made history as the first television reporter to broadcast live images of U.S. forces entering Baghdad and delivered exclusive coverage of the storming of Saddam Hussein’s presidential palace.
