Rev. Rountree is committed to the advancement of the Newark community as a faith and civic leader. She is the Manager of Clergy Affairs for the Office of the Mayor of Newark. She coordinates the efforts of Newark’s diverse faith-based community as founder and chair of the Newark Interfaith Alliance, where over 500 faith leaders provide grief support, food distribution, health, and wellness. Rev. Rountree serves on the Commission of the Status of Women and the City of Newark’s Homeless Commission. She has received countless acknowledgments and awards for her service to her community. Rev. Rountree lives a life dedicated to pleasing God.
