5,000 Couples. One Purpose. A God-Centered Celebration of Love in Korea

At an unforgettable global event in South Korea, 5,000 couples stood together to say “yes” to something bigger than themselves
Hosted as part of the international Peace Starts With Me movement, this ceremonial blessing was more than a wedding—it was a declaration of a new world rooted in faith, family, and global unity.
Among the emcees was Demian Dunkley, who energized the arena of couples by guiding a heartfelt call-and-response:
“Hold one another’s hand…”
“Saranghae!” (I love you)
As thousands joined in unison, the energy was electric.
🕊️ Why It Matters
For many couples, this is only the beginning. Some will return home for private ceremonies, but what happened in Korea was symbolic of something greater:
a global commitment to build God-centered families.
“You have to see it to believe it,” Demian shared.
“It’s about two people saying—we will put God first and love each other in a way that serves our family, community, and world.”
This year’s ceremony even included couples like Shogo and Kyoko, who shared how transformative the experience was for their relationship and their faith.
🎉 What Happens After “I Do”?
As with all powerful moments, what comes next is important. Following the blessing, families celebrated with laughter, shared meals, and spontaneous plans for the next chapter—whether grabbing hot dogs or heading to local cafés with their children in tow.
🔭 Looking Ahead
The Peace Starts With Me movement continues to grow, and the call to restore the family as the cornerstone of peace grows stronger each year.
“Another blessing done. Let’s get ready for 2026.” – Demian Dunkley
From the altar to the avenue, peace starts with love—and love starts here.
