In observance of the International Day of Peace promoted by the United Nations, the local chapter of Universal Peace Federation (UPF) Elizabeth called together leaders to pray for peace. On September 22, the event was attended by more than 20 people and was co-sponsored by the Elizabeth chapters of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) and the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP).

In collaboration with the American Clergy Leadership Conference (ACLC), the Los Angeles chapter of the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP), an organization of chapters on college campuses created for students by students to promote principles and raise leaders, hosted a Revival Starts With Me rally on December 16, 2017 for the peaceful reunification of North and South Korea.

The second day of the Peace Starts With Me interfaith conference on September 6 was full of fire as religious leaders from all over the world heard numerous religious perspectives on the importance of the unification of all religions as emphasized by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.
